I’ve been fortunate to partner with some incredible partners and clients—here’s what they have to say about working together.
“Seriously impressive velocity.”
“I remember when I first conceptualized the app to bring our analog process into a digital format. Tyler's first impact was refining my complex vision into actionable steps. He drafted a mock-up of the initial MVP version, condensing my ideas into a more focused, practical starting point.
I appreciated Tyler's project planning skills - he created a timeline and cost analysis that helped ground the project. What made our collaboration special was my openness to input and creativity. This wasn't a fully developed vision, but an exploratory process where we could both contribute and refine ideas.
Tyler's organizational skills were impressive. He could seamlessly transition between brainstorming and implementation, always bringing our creative exploration back to practical considerations of time and cost. His ability to work with such deep focus and produce high-quality work in a short time was remarkable.
Technically, Tyler is exceptional - handling everything from coding and UI design to complex features like custom drawing engines, image sharing, and scheduling capabilities. The diversity of his skills is truly impressive.
While this wasn't primarily a commercial project, it became a deeply therapeutic and exploratory process for me. The friendship we developed and the soulful conversations were invaluable. The economic aspects were secondary to our personal and creative growth.
There were challenges - sometimes when Tyler was in deep focus mode, communication could become more challenging. But overall, our working relationship was unique and meaningful.”

“I experienced Tyler at a masters level of iPhone app development.”
“Working with Tyler was great. I mean, obviously it was challenging, because we were creating something that had never been done before. But we did it. The three of us did it. I remember when we tested it the first time and it worked. We were a small team that was highly motivated. We were in it together. It succeeded, we got a patent and had done something that had never been done before.
If we ever had any relational challenges, Tyler and I always worked through it.
I think Tyler always succeeded and he always finished the next build. Tyler has always been professional. There's never been drama. He's been easy to work with. He's always done the best that he could, and he's super talented.
I never experienced Tyler taking anything personally when we had a critique or we wanted to make changes. He did what he said he was going to do. He showed up for the hours he committed to and I would recommend Tyler to anyone lookin for a developer, especially when it comes to iPhone development. He can build websites and other things, but I experienced Tyler at a masters level of iPhone app development.
I would say Tyler operated between a B and an A-, and in the end, he hit an A. There was never marginal work or subpar work. It was always above average or excellent.
Tyler's normal rate is $75 or $100 an hour. I felt like he always discounted it in the end. I think he was $50 to $75 and he worked with our budget. He worked within our plan. It was hard working within our scope so I feel like he did flex, and he was a great value. He provided a discounted rate when we did longer contracts. He is a great value.”
